New Delhi: Alum is used in everyone’s home. In chemistry it is known as potassium aluminum sulfate (potassium alum). Many medicinal properties of alum are also mentioned in Ayurveda. But do you know it can also be used for health, beauty and other benefits.
– Cleaning the dirt is the best quality of alum. It is used to clean drinking water so that germs in the water are eliminated and the water is clean. Apart from this, alum is also used for skin cleansing.
– If you are bleeding or have a cut, applying alum to the wound will stop the bleeding within minutes. However, its use is only useful for minor cuts or wounds. Excess intake of alum can be harmful to the body.
To remove wrinkles, wet a small amount of alum and rub it gently on your face. After some time, wash the face with rose water. Then use a moisturizer. You will see that after a few days the wrinkles from the skin disappear.

-If you have a lot of acne on your face and you need to get rid of it, grind alum and make a paste with water. Apply this paste on acne spots and leave it on for 20 minutes. Then wash the face with water. By doing this routine, the stains will disappear in a few days.
– To heal mouth blisters – Mouth blisters can also be removed with alum. Put alum solution in mouth blisters or wounds for 30 seconds, then rinse with clean water or wash mouth two or three times a day, mouth blisters are healed.
Bathing with alum water is a very good solution to remove dirt and germs on the body. This also reduces your body odor and sweat.
Heat the alum in an empty bowl so that it melts into foam. After cooling, add coconut oil and apply it on the cracked ankles. This recipe provides instant relief from cracked ankles.
