Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath (CM Yogi Adityanath) claimed that in the past three years a decisive battle has been waged against the disease of encephalitis, which has killed hundreds of children every year in Purvanchal for nearly 40 years and this battle has come to an end. It is round. He said that if the efforts of the past three years continue, the name of encephalitis will be eradicated in Gorakhpur-Basti Mandal in the next two years.
Up to 95 percent reduction in infection
The prime minister published statistics on encephalitis and other communicable diseases in the eastern parts of the state and said the number of deaths from encephalitis has fallen by 90 to 95% since 2016. He said that in the year 2019, 34 of the 816 patients with acute encephalitis syndrome died, while in 2020, 12 of the 396 patients died.
Yogi also said that with this readiness Uttar Pradesh will fight the Kovid-19 (Covid-19) epidemic. He claimed that Uttar Pradesh is witnessing more studies than in other states of the country, but the number of Kovid-19 patients here is the lowest per population. The prime minister said Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has played a huge role in curbing the spread of infection and other infectious diseases with the coronavirus.

He provided district-wise statistics on Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) and Japanese Encephalitis (Japanese Encephalitis) and said Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Maharajganj and Deoria recorded a sharp decline in the number of people suffering from these illnesses and deaths.
